SHELTON, Conn. - Virginia A. Arnett of Shelton died Monday, July 29. She was 87.
Arnett was born Sept. 16, 1925, in Chicago, Ill., daughter of Michael and Anna (Hadzima) Malata, and she lived in Shelton for over 27 years, coming from Westport.
Arnett is survived by her husband, Charles Arnett; children, Carolyn A. Shillington (Jerry), Catherine A. D'Aulizio (Tom), Cynthia A. Pleasant (John), and Cheryl A. Zebendon (Randy); nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers; and sisters.
Calling hours are Thursday, Aug. 1 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton. The funeral procession will then leave for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Lawrence Church at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be private.
