On Thursday, Sept. 17, Wildwood police responded to the 200 East block of Spencer Avenue  for a report of a person with a handgun, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland and Wildwood Police Chief Joseph Murphy said. Officers identified the suspect as Mark Davis, 36, of Vineland, authorities said. Detectives searched Davis' vehicle and found narcotics and a handgun, authorities said.
