Trumbull Man Headed To Prison After Pocketing $3.5M For Fake Amazon Trucking Jobs A Connecticut man who collected more than $3.5 million from Amazon for trucking jobs he never completed must spend two years in federal prison. Ameer Nasir, 25, of Trumbull, pleaded guilty to wire fraud on March 6, and US District Judge Kari A. Dooley sentenced him on Wednesday, Oct. 7. She ruled that he must also repay $3,547,090.93 he scammed as part of the scheme, the US Attorney for the District of Connecticut said.  Nasir also faces three years of supervised release after prison, according to prosecutors.  The scheme involved 23 trucking businesses Nasir registered with…
