Road Rage: Man Hit Woman With Car In Hopkinton Causing Life-Threatening Injuries, Police Say A Milford man has been charged with running down a woman with his car and hitting her on purpose during a road rage dispute in Hopkinton, authorities said.  Ryan Sweatt, age 36, is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, operating to endanger, and a marked lanes violation after the alleged incident overnight Thursday, April 4, the Middlesex District Attorney said. Peabody Man Seriously Injured After Crashing Into Tree In Danvers A 34-year-old Peabody man was taken to a trauma center after crashing his SUV into a tree in Danvers.  The man, whose name was not released, went off the road about a half mile from the Route 62 exit of Route 1.  He was the only person in the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee.  Paramedics rushed him to Beverly Hospital and later to Lahey Hospital in Burlington.  A lane on Route 1 was closed for more than an hour as police cleaned, cleared, and investigated the crash.  It's unclear what caused the man to go off the road.

Woman, 28, Missing From Springfield; Police Ask For Help A 28-year-old Springfield woman is missing after she left her home in the middle of the night, authorities said.  Genesis Escalera vanished overnight, Springfield police said in a Facebook post. Her family it was unusual for her to leave the house so late.  Police are anyone with information on her disappearance or whereabouts to contact searchers at 413-787-6300.  Several people have posted to ask for help in the search for her.

Woman Killed In Head-On Route 117 Crash In Lincoln A woman was killed Thursday morning, April 4, in a head-on collision in the Middlesex County town of Lincoln, authorities said.  The crash happened a little after 9 a.m. on Route 117 near Sweet Bay Lane when a Jeep Wrangler collided with a Chevy Silverado, the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office said.  Paramedics rushed the woman behind the wheel of the Wrangler to Emerson Hospital, where she died of her wounds. Springfield Woman ID'd As Fatal Shooting Victim In West Springfield Police have identified the woman who they found shot and bleeding in a West Springfield parking lot as a 43-year-old Springfield woman.  Angela Mercado was found shot just before 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, in a parking lot on Riverdale Road, West Springfield police said.
