Man Guilty Of Drunken Crash That Killed 47-Year-Old Springfield Father Of 2: DA A Hampden County jury found a 39-year-old man Springfield man guilty of a 2018 drunken fatal crash, authorities announced.  Misael Sanchez was found guilty of manslaughter while operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol on Friday, Feb. 2, the Hampden County District Attorney's Office said. A judge sentenced him to 7 to 10 years in prison.  Sanchez crashed his Acura into a Christopher Martin's Toyota just after 4:30 a.m. on Parker Street on Aug. 4, 2018.  Paramedics rushed Martin to Baystate Medical Center, but doctors were unable to save the 47-year-old's…

$100K Lottery Tickets Sold In Billerica, Everett Two lucky lottery winners cashed their tickets for $100,000 on Monday, Feb. 5.  The winning tickets were sold at Jim's Quick Stop at 502 Boston Road in Billerica and at Regina Food Mart at 203 Main Street in Everett. 60-Year Newton Resident ID'd As Man Killed In House Fire A Newton man who had lived in the city for 60 years after moving from Italy has been identified as the victim of a house fire last month.  Pompeo DeRubeis Sr., 83, was trapped inside the home on Lincoln Road on Jan. 24 after a blaze began around 8:30 p.m., the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office said. $100K Lottery Ticket Sold In Western Mass A $100,000 winning lottery ticket was sold over the weekend at a Berkshire County store.  The winning six-figure Mass Cash ticket was bought at George's Liquors in Pittsfield on Sunday, Feb. 4. The winner's name was not released.  A second $100,000 Mass Cash ticket was also sold in Yarmuth on Cape Cod the same day.  George's Liquors will receive a bonus for selling the winning ticket.
