Teen Girl Missing For 2 Weeks From Western Mass; Police Asking For Help Police in Hampden County are asking for the public's help finding a 17-year-old girl who hasn't been seen since early September.  Eva Marie Sicard, of Holyoke, was last seen by her family on Sept. 5, Holyoke police said.  Authorities implore anyone who sees Eva or knows of her whereabouts to contact the Holyoke police at 413-322-6900.

Firefighters Rescue Dogs From Burning Western Mass Home Firefighters in Berkshire County rushed into a burning home Monday morning, Sept. 18, to rescue two dogs who were trapped inside, authorities said.  Fire Crews were called to 365 West Housatonic St. in Pittsfield just before 8:30 a.m. after multiple people called 911 to report smoke pouring from the home, the Pittsfield Department said. According to a new study, the Bay State is one of the nation's most expensive places to perish.  Forbes recently tallied all the financial costs of losing a loved one. That included end-of-life care and funeral expenses. What they found is that not only is the cost of living rising, but so is the price of dying. Alaska was the priciest place to die, with it costing more than $33,000 on average.
