Springfield Man Killed In Vermont, 2nd Man Who Escaped Remains In Hospital: Police A 27-year-old Springfield man was shot and killed outside of a home in Vermont over the weekend. His friend, who made the trip with him, was critically wounded in the shooting, but he escaped in a car and was rescued by a stranger miles away. Juan Sierra was found dead outside of a home in Brookfield, Vermont, with a bullet wound to his chest on Friday, May 12, Vermont State Police said. Five-Year-Old Killed: Man Crashed Into Girl As She Crossed Worcester Street With Mom, DA Says An Auburn was charged recently with crashing into and killing a 5-year-old Worcester girl as she left a store with her mother last year, authorities said. Body Of Natick Boater Found After Canoe Capsized: Police State police say they have located the body of a man whose boat capsized in Fiske Pond Saturday, May 13, in Natick, officials said. Police divers used sonar to locate the body around 10:30 p.m., a Massachusetts State Police spokesperson said. Another man who was in the boat was able to swim to shore.
