Boston Man Charged With Stabbing Rival During Fight: Police A 25-year-old Boston man stabbed another man during a fight earlier this week, authorities said. Hakeem Jackson, of Charlestown, is charged with aggravated assault with intent to murder stemming from the Wednesday night attack, Boston Police said. Officials said Jackson stabbed another man just after 9 p.m. at 41 Polk Street. Responders took the injured man to a nearby hospital for treatment. Doctors said his wounds were not life-threatening. Jackson turned himself into police without incident, police said.

Ex-Boston Philharmonic Artistic Advisor Gets 5 Years For Violent Child Porn: Feds The former artistic advisor for the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra will spend the next five years in prison after he pleaded guilty to sharing child porn, authorities announced on Thursday, Sept. 22. David St. George, 75, of Arlington, was sentenced to the prison term, five years of supervised release, and he must pay a $5,100 special assessment and $3,000 restitution to the victims in the case, the US Attorney's Office said. Judge Lowers $1M Bail For Quincy Man Accused Of Raping Children At Knifepoint: DA A Suffolk County judge on Thursday lowered the bond for a former State Street vice president accused of raping two women and two children at knifepoint from $1 million to $300,000, authorities said. Ivan Cheung, 42, of Quincy, was arrested earlier this month and charged with the alleged assaults that date back nearly 20 years. 26-Year-Old Shot To Death In Crowded Tauton Apartment: DA Police are investigating the death of a 26-year-old Lakeville woman who was shot and killed in a crowded Taunton apartment late Wednesday, Sept. 21, authorities said. Colby Dowling was in the 52 Tremont Street apartment with several other people around 11 p.m. when she was shot, the Bristol County District Attorney's Office said. Police received a 911 call about the shooting, but when they arrived, Dowling was already dead, officials said. Taunton police are investigating the incident and are not releasing any other information.

Man On Run For 8 Years In Boston Shooting Busted In Chicago: Police A 26-year-old man who has been on the run since police said he shot a man in Boston in 2014 was arrested in Chicago and sent back to Massachusetts to face several charges, police said. Diriye Bile was arrested as he stepped off a plane at O'Hare International Airport earlier this month, Boston Police said.
