Three Charged With Concealing Human Corpse In Plattekill
NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- Three Newburgh residents are facing charges after the body of an acquaintance was found in a ditch in Ulster County, State Police said.
The lightly clothed body of 28-year-old Alexis Scanlon was found off New Unionville Road in Plattekill Friday, Feb. 26, police said.
A person known to police as a “transient,” Scanlon apparently died on Thursday, Feb. 25, at the home of one of the suspects, Angel Delgado, police said.

New Polls Show Chappaqua's Clinton, Bedford's Trump Ahead Of Rivals
With just hours to go before Super Tuesday, several new polls are showing that Bedford resident Donald Trump is ahead in Republican primaries in Georgia and Tennessee, according to a report by NBC News, which conducted one of them.
Polls were also conducted by the Wall Street Journal and Marist College, NBC reported, and they also show Trump leading in those states.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is topping polls in his home state, the NBC report said.

Two Charged With Stealing From Sears In Yorktown
YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Two people have been charged with stealing more than $200 worth of merchandise from Sears in Yorktown, police said.
Julia Castellitto, 53, and Johnny Hernandez, 49, both of Mahopac, were arrested at the store at the Jefferson Valley Mall on Sunday, Feb. 28, police said.
They have both been charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Police say they took $201.92 worth of items without paying for them.
Castellitto and Hernandez were released on their own recognizance and ordered to appear in Yorktown Justice Court in April.
