Lack Of Village Attorney Means Lost Revenue For Spring Valley SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. -- A battle between Spring Valley Mayor Demeza Delhomme and the Village Board of Trustees is costing taxpayers, according to a report on lohud.com The board’s majority is balking at Delhomme’s attempts to hire a village attorney and department heads, Lohud reported. Because there apparently is no one showing up in court to prosecute traffic and code violations, the village has lost about $30,000 in potential revenues so far and has had to engage outside legal consultants, the lohud report said.
