Scarsdale High School Debate Tournament Draws Hundreds of Students SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Scarsdale High School’s annual Invitational Debate Tournament drew hundreds of students from states as far away as Florida, according to a report in Scarsdale10583.com. The tournament was held on Nov. 13 and 14. Made possible by the efforts of the Scarsdale Speech and Debate Team, parent volunteers, and coach Joe Vaughan, the contest had 300 participants who came from 30 high school in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Florida, the news outlet reported.
