The Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the scene around 12 p.m. on Sunday, March 9.  Upon arrival, crews confirmed a vehicle fire on the parkway in Putnam Valley and immediately stretched a hose line to quickly extinguish the flames.  No further details were immediately available regarding injuries or the cause of the crash. Car Crashes Into Swimming Pool At Fitness Center In Briarcliff (Developing) A car ended up in an indoor swimming pool after crashing into a Westchester fitness center.  The crash happened on Friday, March 7, at around 12:30 p.m., when a vehicle crashed into Club Fit at 584 North State Rd.  The car ended up in one of the building's indoor pools, as shown in a photo from the scene taken by eyewitness Christopher Tucker.  No one was injured, according to the Ossining Police Department.  It is not yet clear how the car ended up in the fitness center.
