Franklin Man Fired Gunshots Onto Neighbor's Property: Police A 52-year-old Franklin man was arrested on Saturday, July 27, after he fired gunshots that damaged his neighbor's property, authorities said. Officers arrived on Corkhill Road and determined Kevin Kaye was intoxicated when he was handling the rifle, causing damage to his neighbor's fence, above-ground pool, children's clubhouse and garage, Franklin Borough police said. Missing Morris County Girl Found Safe On Train In North Carolina: Prosecutor A 15-year-old Morris County girl, who had been missing since last month, was found safe on the evening of Tuesday, Aug. 13, authorities said. Investigators determined the girl was on an interstate train heading south and contacted police in North Carolina, who were able to locate her on a train, unharmed, and took her into protective custody, Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll, Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, and Morris County Sheriff James Gannon said. Two Men Arrested For Assault With Motorcycle Helmet At Guttenberg Bar: Police Two men were recently arrested and charged for assaulting another man with a motorcycle helmet outside a bar in Guttenberg in June, authorities said. On Saturday, June 1 at 1:16 a.m., police responded to a bar at 68th Street and Bergenline Avenue and found a man suffering from multiple head injuries and bleeding profusely, Guttenberg police said in a release. Man Arrested For Masturbating At Bridgewater Target: Police A 21-year-old East Orange man was arrested and charged on Thursday, Aug. 8 with masturbating at a Target in Bridgewater earlier this month, police said. On Thursday, Aug. 1 at 7:21 p.m., Jason Banks was seen exposing his genitals and gratifying himself in the toy aisle of the Target on Promenade Boulevard, Bridgewater police said in a release. A week later, police located Banks and arrested him after conducting an interview, officers said. He was charged with lewdness and lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing, police said.

Man Shot By Police In Newark After Wild Struggle: AG A man shot by police in Newark on Monday evening, Aug. 12 is in critical but stable condition, authorities said. All Lanes Closed After Route 521 Crash: Developing A crash on Route 521 in Warren County has closed all lanes on Tuesday, Aug. 13, authorities said. The crash occurred on Route 521 at Exit 12 by Dogwood Road and Blairstown Road in Hope Township, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said. All lanes are closed and the exit ramp has also been closed as police remain on scene, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said. Man Riding E-Bike Groped Three Women: Hoboken PD (Photo) A man in Hoboken is at large after he groped three women while riding an e-bike on Tuesday, July 30, authorities said. The incidents occurred near the intersections of Second and Garden Streets, Garden and First Streets, and Willow Avenue and Seventh Street between 1:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m., a spokeswoman for the Hoboken police said. Worker Hit In Head By Backhoe, Killed While Demolishing Home: Scotch Plains PD A man died after he was struck with the bucket of a backhoe while demolishing a home in Scotch Plains on the afternoon of Monday, Aug. 12, authorities said. Officers responded to the scene at 3:30 p.m. and located the victim who had severe head trauma, Scotch Plains police said in a release.
