Pedestrian Airlifted After Hit By Car Tending To Deer: Mount Olive PD A 24-year-old Lake Hopatcong woman was airlifted to a hospital after she was hit by a car on Route 206 on Tuesday, Sept. 15, authorities said. At 11:43 p.m., officers responded to Route 206 and Patricia Drive and after a woman attempted to tend to an injured deer and was subsequently struck by a white Mazda, Mount Olive police. After being found lying in the roadway, she was flown via helicopter to a nearby hospital, police said. The driver, a 29-year-old Flanders woman remained on the scene and was not injured, police said. The crash remains under investigation, police said.

Philly Man Brandished Gun In Road Rage Incident: Jefferson Twp PD A 39-year-old Philadelphia man was arrested and charged after he brandished a firearm at another driver in Jefferson Township Tuesday, Sept. 15, authorities said. Officers responded to Route 15 south and stopped the vehicle involved in the incident, Jefferson Township police said. A loaded firearm was found inside the vehicle and Anthony Lopez was placed under arrest, police said. Cyclist Injured After Struck By SUV In Knowlton Twp: Njsp A cyclist was injured after they were struck by an SUV in Warren County Tuesday, Sept. 15, authorities said. At 3:41 p.m., the driver of a Volkswagen SUV was attempting to make left turn onto Knowlton Road onto Koeck Road when it struck a cyclist, Christopher Postorino, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The bicyclist sustained minor injuries and was transferred to an area hospital, Postorino said.. There were no other injuries reported on scene, Postorino said.  The crash remains under investigation, Postorino said.
