Nursing Home Rape: Man Gets 10-12 Years For West Springfield Attack, Faces Deportation A 37-year-old West Springfield man found guilty of a 2013 rape at a Hampden County nursing home will spend at least the next decade behind bars, authorities said. But his punishment won't end there. Mihail Lujan, a Moldovan national, will be handed over to federal officials for deportation following his 10-to-12-year prison sentence, the Hampden District Attorney said in a news release. Police Dog Finds Stolen Gun In Auburn; Arrest Made A Worcester police dog helped police track down an allegedly stolen pistol only a few minutes after a man called to report his gun missing in Auburn. The man called officers on Monday, April 24, after he picked up his car from being serviced when he noticed his firearm was missing, and he believed someone at the station had taken it, Auburn police said. Holden Fire Truck Sank Into Road As Gas Main Break Caused Sinkhole A Holden fire truck got stuck after a sinkhole opened up beneath it as fire crews were on the scene of a gas leak on Tuesday, April 26, authorities said. Hit, Run Driver Leaves Behind Something Important In Western Mass Crash Holyoke police are asking for the public's help to track down a driver they say was involved in a hit-and-run crash on Main Street on Monday afternoon, April 24.
