Fort Lee Truck Driver Charged In Pedestrian's Fatal North Bergen Pin: Prosecutor A 24-year-old Fort Lee resident was arrested and charged after he fatally struck a pedestrian in North Bergen on Monday, Feb. 10 and fled the scene, authorities said. Newark Restaurant Owner Drugged, Sexually Assaulted Woman: Prosecutor A 36-year-old Elizabeth man who owns a restaurant in Newark was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a woman on Friday, Feb. 14, authorities said. Carlos Erazo-Caballero owns Stephanie's Barbecue IV at North 6th Street, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens and Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda said. Erazo-Caballero drugged and sexually assaulted an adult woman at the restaurant last October, authorities said.

Skillman Woman Robbed Princeton Bank Using Water Pistol: DOJ A 39-year-old Skillman woman was arrested and charged with robbing a bank in Princeton last year using a water pistol, authorities said. On Sunday, July 28, 2024, Ciara Brascom entered the TD Bank and demanded cash from the teller, while holding what appeared to be a black handgun, Acting U.S. Attorney Vikas Khanna said.
