Drunk, Reckless Driver Busted On New Year's Eve: Denville PD A 52-year-old Budd Lake resident was arrested for driving while intoxicated on New Year's Eve in Denville, authorities said. On Tuesday, Dec. 31, officers conducted a welfare check on Jermaine Jackson, who was sleeping in his vehicle which was parked and idling on East Main Street, Denville police said. An investigation revealed Jackson was under the influence of alcohol and he failed field sobriety tests, police said. Jackson was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and careless driving, police said.

The speed monitor sign was stolen on Park Avenue after it was struck on Tuesday, Dec. 31, the Flemington Borough Police Department said. The sign belongs to goHunterdon and was being used as part of an ongoing speed survey in partnership with the Borough of Flemington, police said.
